Hip and Shoulder Clinic
2012 at HF Ranch. 150.00
You will learn how to control your horses hips and shoulders. You use hip and shoulder for side passing, half-passing. Controlling your horse in all directions.
hips control is necessary to have your horse pick up the correct lead . . If you want to do flying lead changes you will need Hip's and Shoulder control.
Introducing your horse to neck reining. Improving lightness and responsiveness to the bridle.

Little Wrangler play day , Fee $50.00
Bring your mom/dad and your best cowboy ponies, and ride with me. We will work on riding skill in the morning and after a lunch break. We will have a play day, With fun things to do on the horses And even ribbons to win. We will have a blast and learn new riding skills.

Trail horse Clinics:
Fee $150.00 2012, We will be using our , ever changing , Trail Course
We will be using our horses Hip and Shoulder control . We will be going over objects, bridges, water like objects, and dealing with fearful objects on the trail course. We have lama's and cow's to help desensitize our horses.
Also learn how to become a active rider not reactive rider. How to deal with fear in yourself.

Colt starting:
Fee $900.00 can be paid over the 4 week time of clinic,
We will learn to properly use the round pen and how to do your bridle work, first saddling, first ride on your colt. SAFTY is a priority. We will go over a 4 week end time period. These horses must be handled and have some manners so you can best learn and grow with the time allowed . Each colt will go as far as the colt is able to go.

Improving your riding clinic :
Fee $150.00 or as we call it
"Just Ride clinic."
For rider who are less experienced with their horses. I can help. We can ride and grow together.
This clinic will be on improving your riding. Learn things like how to be the better partner for your horse. You don’t have to be an expert rider but you must be riding to get the most out of this clinics. We will work on trotting and riding with a purpose, being an active rider not a reactive rider. If we are moving along well we can work on cantering.

Canter work.
Fee $300.00. it would be wise to have gone thru the "Hip and Shoulder clinic"
In this clinic we will work on cantering , cantering , cantering. We will work on departures, lead, hip in for consistent lead changes. And we will work towards lead changes. This is a two week end clinic so that you can practice some of what we learn and then come back and develop it.
Fun Rides:
Fee $ 65.00 for the day including lunch.
Fun rides are just to ride together. We will get together and share information. We will encourage each other and enjoy lunch together.

Round Pen Basic: Fee $100.00
We will learn how to round pen correctly. The Round pen has been misused . It is a tool to establish control and a yes attitude in your horse. Round penning can be an important tool in our training .I will demo with a horse in the round pen.

Remember there are limited space in each clinic. So a deposit is necessary to hold your spot. Appropriate tack is mandatory, boots, saddle ect... Helmet to ride if under 18 . or when riding colts.
